- Mounted Units

NSK Mounted Units are available in two different designs to accomodate your special requirements. The NSK branded mounted units are based on the Asian design of mounted units, while our RHP branded mounted units support Western and European designs. Both brands offer multiple standard series and are available in inch and metric sizes.
Standard Mounted Units are mounted in rigid housings of simple design. They are available in pillow block, 2-bolt flange and 4-bolt flange configurations.
- Set-screw Type mounted units lock to the shaft with two screws located 120 degrees from each other to hold the block in place. These are best used where access to mounting is limited due to their simplistic design.
- Eccentric Locking Collar Type units offer an advanced locking mechanism which squeezes the shaft and is held in place with a set-screw. This locking mechanism offers greater performance but additional complexity which may be difficult to utilize in inaccessible mounting locations.
Cylindrical Cartridge Bearings offered in a 4-bolt Flange Type provide shaft support where the shaft axis is perpendicular to and passing through a solid support, in a location where the cartridges can be mounted with a press rather than bolt flanges.
