NSK Rolling Mill bearings support the rolls that roll steel and other primary metals to specified size and shape. Work roll and back up roll bearings are the heart of every rolling mill and NSK offers the product range required to service your mill.

Roll Neck bearings are continuously called upon to deliver tons of steel without failure. NSK has dedicated it's resources to make sure that our bearings produce more steel at lower cost to help our customers compete all over the world.

• Two Row Tapered Bearings are common in multiple applications from guide boxes, gearboxes and work roll thrust bearings.  NSK offers a complete line of taper products to meet the demands of all steel mills.
• Four Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings are commonly used on Rod and Bar Type Mills as Work Roll Bearings and in Hot and Cold Mills as Back Up bearings.  These products can range from 100mm to over 1100mm bore.  NSK offers a variety of solutions for maximizing the life of these critical bearings for steel mills.
• Angular Contact Ball Bearings are used as thrust bearings for Rod and Bar Mill Stands as well as critical bearings within mill drives.  These bearings are typically arranged to accommodate thrust loads for specific applications.

Screw down bearings are full complement, steep angle, single row, thrust oriented tapered bearings designed specifically for steel mills.  Two of these bearings work together to accomodate the total load of separating forces of a steel mill allowing the mill to adjust the gap between the work rolls.
